ReStore Opens with a Bang!

"The ReStore has opened!! On September 15th, 2007 Patuxent Habitat for Humanity cut the ribbon and rang up the first sale for the eagerly anticipated ReStore project. The Grand Opening was a huge success with a large crowd of enthusiastic customers and dignitaries; we couldn’t get the door opened fast enough! The store was full of people all day seeing what treasures the store had to offer....

Since the opening the results have been incredible. The donations from the public and commercial sector have been great. With new product coming in all the time it is really fun for the customers to see new items every time they come in! As the Alexandria ReStore says “Miss a day, Miss a deal”. "
