The churches of St. Mary’s and Calvert counties have been some of the most important partners in Patuxent Habitat for Humanity’s ministry.  With the rising demand for affordable housing in front of us, Patuxent Habitat for Humanity wants to reach out to more of the faith community for support through the Apostles Build program.  Patuxent Habitat for Humanity is a servant of  God, providing a concrete opportunity for people to put faith into action!

An Apostles Build is when twelve churches join together to fully fund and build ONE house for ONE family. Each church represents one of the twelve Apostles. Smaller groups of churches may join together to represent one Apostle. As Jesus' original apostles were charged with spreading the work about Jesus, our twelve apostles are charged with assisting in Habitat’s mission to provide decent shelter for God's children in need.
